Pomeranian Facts: Everything you need to know

Pomeranian

If you are looking for a tiny, fluffy pup to adopt? The Pomeranian can make a great addition to any home. Pomeranians are a popular dog breed from Northern Europe, affectionately known as Toy Pom or Pom Poms.

These dogs are probably best known for their small statues. The Pomeranian has more coat colours than any other dog breed.

Queen Victoria of England, Martin Luther, Mozart, Sir Isaac Newton and Michelangelo all had Pom Poms. Two Pomeranians were amongst the three dogs that survived when the Titanic sank in 1912.

Are Pomeranians good pets

Pomeranians are small, lively, playful and brave puppies. They love meeting new people and get along well with other animals.

These are great companion dog breeds for those who live in cities or apartments and may not have access to a spacious backyard. However, this doesn’t mean a Pomeranian won’t need any exercise. They have a lot of energy and enjoy going for walks.
