The French Bulldog

The French Bulldogs is also known as Frenchies but actually hail from England. In the mid-19th Century, English dog traders set sail across to the northern French countryside with pups that were crossbreeding with crossed them with Terriers and Pugs which contributed to the distinct “bat ear” of the French Bulldog.
The French Bulldog is much smaller in size compared to the English Bulldog, it’s often mistaken for the Boston Terrier due to its lankier legs.
